Having just had a bank-holiday weekend, and with fine weather to boot, we were able to get down to the summerhouse and enjoy some of my favourite colours...
Blue for the sea...

...and of course the sky

Yellow for the sand

Green for the grass

And not forgetting my favourite shade of green...

We too have seen some blue sky recently - after a very long wait!
Lovely blues and greens. I like brown as in Guinness!
fie: We're enjoying it as long as it lasts
Nitebyrd: With you there, although it is hard to get hold of over here. A nice cold Tuborg slips down very well on a hot day
LOL. Ruf once came down to see my local estuary in the company of Angelala. He still remembers her saying 'When I was a child, we spent all our holidays here and I never realised that the sea actually came in blue...'
As to the beer, we only drink bottled lager that has been made in the country from which it originated. Staropramen being a great favourite. However, since there is always an exception to every rule, Ruf's local keeps a fantastically good chilled draught Carlsberg Export on tap.
Joanna: Just a little bit north of us the land comes to a sharp point. To the left is essentially the North Sea and to the right are the brackish waters from the Baltic. You can clearly se two different colours of water along the line where they meet.
